Cambridge International IGCSE International Mathematics (0607) develops learners’ mathematical knowledge, confidence and problem-solving abilities through a modern, internationally focused approach. The course encourages logical reasoning, mathematical communication and the application of mathematics to real-world situations, preparing students for further study and everyday life.

Learners study topics including number, algebra, functions, coordinate geometry, geometry, mensuration, trigonometry, transformations, vectors, probability and statistics. The qualification places a strong emphasis on mathematical investigations, modelling and problem solving, helping students develop analytical thinking and the confidence to apply mathematical techniques in a variety of contexts. The syllabus is available at both Core and Extended levels and includes the use of a graphic display calculator where appropriate.
